Plant improves safety in year after fatal explosion

SCHOFIELD, Wis. Company officials say
the American Wood Fibers plant has improved its safety measures one
year after an explosion rocked the plant, killing one worker and
injuring another.

New safety measures, including more fire detection
devices, have been implemented for the 60 employees. General manager
Steve Aubrey says the company is committed to never letting such an
event happen again.
