‘No accident talk in public’
LABOUR MINISTER
Danny Montano Friday warned members of the newly appointed Occupational
Safety and Health (OSH) Authority not to discuss accidents with the
media because this could prejudice legal proceedings being contemplated
against any of the parties involved. Montano also said Government’s
commitment to the new authority and the soon to be formed OSH agency
was reflected in a $4 million allocation in the 2006/2007 Budget which
was passed by the House of Representatives Friday.
